Kelmer Freight Audits receives the freighted bills of lading, transport contracts and payment records from the client. The documents are for the period of shipments to be audited.
Our expert auditors study the contracts closely for details such as the terms and conditions, rate revisions, special rates, surcharges, exceptions, service level commitments, etc.
The auditing process is carried out using our in depth freight bill management expertise and proprietary technology.
Errors and overcharges are identified. If the error is a recurring problem, the prevention strategy is identified and corrected.
The refund will be sent directly to our client.
A report is sent monthly or quarterly to provide insight into the claims filed by Kelmer Freight Audits and the current status of outstanding refunds.
Kelmer Freight Audits will directly file claims with the carriers on behalf of the client.
